Ink Drawings
I create my ink drawings using Letraset Promarker pens.
When I first started working as an artist this was my media of choice. I started my art career by doing doodles in sketchbooks. I officially became an artist when somebody one day suggested that I colour the doodles in and present them as pieces of art, so I did and I've been creating pieces in that way ever since.
A lot of the doodles I had in those original sketchbooks were of mind-maps.
I love to use these pens because they've got a really bright and vibrant colour tone. The other thing I like about them is that they reproduce really well and colours come out beautifully when printed on paper or on canvas - so much so that it's actually very difficult to tell the difference between the print and the original...
