My ink drawings are like windows into my imagination and I create them using Letraset Promarker pens (which have a very vibrant colour tone).
When I first started out back in 2005/2006 these were the first collections of art I created. Since then I've branched out into other media and styles but my ink drawings largely remain my signature style.
They came about by converting mind-maps and doodles into full colour pieces. I had lots of doodles and sketchbook drawings in black and white which I then coloured-in and turned into finished pieces:

First Ink Drawings
The first ink drawing I created was back in January 2006 and it's a piece called "Swirl".
To create it I took each colour pen an drew a line on the paper and continued doing so until all the white on the page had gone. The overall effect was a colourful, swirly one so I named it "Swirl":

After creating this first piece I went on to create another 20 or so pieces in a similar style and had my first exhibition in July 2007:
