Paintings
I use various different media for my paintings - mostly acrylic, but I sometimes add in some emulsion and I also use oil pastel crayons as well.
I like to work in a range of different styles: some styles are quite measured and precise and others very loose and spontaneous, some are detailed and somewhat complex, and others are very simple with plenty of open space. Whatever style I use though I always try to capture something beyond the painting itself - you might call it an energy or an essence, or a window into another dimension, but whichever way I always aim to infuse my paintings with a certain life-force and character to give each piece a soul, life and character of its own.
I also like to work in a variety of different sizes ranging from small ornamental-style paintings up to large wall-art style pieces to hang on a large wall and I always aim to incorporate the size of the painting into the character of the piece.
