About this Piece...
In this piece I've aimed to catch what I believe to be the essence of wood (hence the title). So, to look at this piece is not only to look through the physical cross-section of a piece of wood or a tree-trunk, but to see also the nature of "wooden" system and to understand what it means to have wood-like qualities
This piece features beautiful, earthy tones and has a strong, natural, organic feel
Wood was created using Letraset Promarker design pens on acid-free paper (unframed)

The inks used to create this piece are not guaranteed to be lightfast and as such may lose some of their colour intensity over time (especially if displayed in a bright place).
